How Do You Use A Garmin Etrex Venture HC?
The Garmin eTrex Venture HC is a hand held GPS unit that provides real time directions to your destinations. The eTrex Venture HC works by connecting with satellites to determine your location and then create directions to your destination based on your location. In order to create routes to your destinations, you need to create waypoints, which are locations saved to the unit. Press in on the thumb stick from the map page to create a new waypoint. The “Mark Waypoint” menu will appear on the screen. Input new latitude and longitude coordinates, if you are creating a waypoint for a different location. The latitude and longitude information of your current location is automatically entered. To change the coordinate information, highlight the “Location” information field and input the new coordinates with the onscreen keyboard.
