How Do You Use A Dremmel Tool For Cutting Wood?
The dremel is a rotary tool known more for its speed, than muscle or precision, but speed alone is what makes the dremel tool a favorite amongst wood workers. The dremel tool is like a fat handled screw driver. It works like a router in that it gets the majority of its versatility by the many different cutters and bits. The dremel tool cuts wood at the high speed of 30,000 rpm. Insert a fiber cut off wheel into the collet of your dremel tool. Clamp down your wood firmly to hold it in place. You can use a vise-grip or metal clamps and a workbench. Turn on the dremel tool and apply the cutting bit slowly to your wood workpiece to prevent bucking. Use gentle pressure and allow the dremel tool to do the majority of the work. Make sure the dremel tool is set at the highest speed for best results. Make several passes with the dremel tool and cutting bit until the cut is complete. If the wood is thick, you might need to turn the wood over and cut from the backside as well.
