How Do You Use A Drag Harrow?
Most drag harrows these days are multifunctional tools designed to help with a variety of land preparation activities. They are often attached to a vehicle or tractor and dragged around fields, pastures and yards. Depending on the weights, angle of the harrow tines and field or pasture, these tools can do everything from spreading grass seed to thatching dead growth. Whatever you need it for, a drag harrow will be one of the simplest lawn tools you’ll use this season. Hook the drag harrow up to the machine you’ll be pulling it with. Tractors work best, but in their absence you may use a vehicle. Flip the drag harrow to either the tined side or the smooth side according to your needs. The smooth side is best for helping distribute recently sown grass or pasture seed to the soil, or for smoothing out dirt or gravel surfaces.
