How Do You Use A Computer Memory Card Reader?

0

Memory cards are becoming more popular to store video and photo files captured by digital cameras and camcorders. You can access these files on your computer by using a memory card reader. While some computers are being manufactured with memory card slots installed in the system, you can buy an external reader to plug in an available USB port. Memory card readers are simple to install and use on your computer. Plug the reader into a USB port on the computer, if it is an external memory card reader. Wait while the operating system detects the reader and install the necessary drivers for it. Slide the memory card into the slot of the memory card reader. Open “My Computer” or “Computer” by double-clicking on the “My Computer” icon on the desktop or clicking on “Start > Computer.” Double-click on the drive that is associated with the memory card reader. It will be listed as a “Removable Disk.” Open files from the reader by double-clicking on them from this window.
