As many of us are sleep-deprived every morning, having caffeine at our disposal may be more a necessity than a luxury. Rather than purchasing a cup of coffee each morning, consider making it at home with a coffee machine. This will not only save you money, but it will likely save you time running an extra errand in the morning. Read the instructions that come with your particular machine before you begin using it as some machines differ. Thoroughly clean your machine with soap and water before using it if it has been sitting in your cabinet for some time. Fill the coffee machine with enough water to make the amount of coffee you desire. You will probably want about three cups of water per person. You can adjust this amount if you drink really large or small cups of coffee. Fill the machine by filling the glass pot up with tap water and pouring the water into the machine.
