How Do You Use A Circumflex Accent In A Windows Document?

A circumflex is a special character used with a vowel. For example, the letter “E” with a circumflex looks like this: Ê. Circumflex accents are used in European and Asian languages written in the Roman alphabet. Open the Character Map. (Open the Start menu and choose Programs, then Accessories, then System Tools and then Character Map.) Select the font that you want to use. Locate the vowel with the circumflex that you want to use. Click the vowel and then click Select. Click the Copy button to copy the vowel into the Clipboard. Go to your document and insert your cursor at the spot where you want to insert the vowel and the circumflex. Paste (Control+V from the keyboard or Paste from the Edit menu) the character into the document.
