How Do You Use A Brita Pitcher Water Filter?
The Brita Corporation, producers of water filtration systems since 1968, offers a number of pitcher filtration products. The pitcher systems simplify filtering and storing water and make keeping cool drinkable water in the refrigerator easy. Using the Brita filter pitcher requires some planning and a place in the fridge but little else. Prepare the filter for installation. A filter is commonly included with new pitchers. Submerge the filter in water for about 15 minutes before rinsing the filter in cold running water. Install the filter into the pitcher. Fill the upper portion of the pitcher with water and allow it to move through the filter to the bottom portion of the filter. Discard this pitcher of water and repeat the filling process. Also discard the second pitcher full of water. Fill the upper portion of the pitcher with water and place the pitcher in the refrigerator.
