How do you use a bobby pin to pick a lock?
Try finding a site that describes how a cylinder lock is made. Basically a few pins of different lengths kept pushed by springs. When under tension the pins do not allow the cylinder to rotate. When the key is inserted, the pins are pushed as to line up with the cylinder, permitting to rotate it. You could then try to line them up with a pin. I think it’s difficult to do it, but use the opportunity to learn how it’s made. This site will show you: http://home.howstuffworks.com/lock.htm Follow the demo, click “Insert correct key” button.
