After you have snapped up all those great party shots and captured memorable sunsets, you need to upload those images to a computer hard drive or storage CD to save and backup your photos. A digital camera’s SIM card has limited memory, and if you lose one, you have no way to reclaim your work. Upload your pictures to a computer in just a few minutes and make backup copies. After your upload is complete, you may delete the photos from your digital card to free up your camera’s storage capability. Uploading images will allow you to email them and/or post the shots on your favorite social networking sites. Remove the digital card from your camera. Plug the USB cable into the back of the digital card reader. Hook the other end into your computer, which will display a prompt alerting you that it has found the hardware.
