You can upgrade to Vista by performing an upgrade installation of the Vista system, replacing the Windows 98 files with the more advanced Vista operating system files. Insert a Vista installation CD into your computer. Restart the PC and press any key to boot from the CD. Select your keyboard and currency options and choose your language. Select “Install Now” and choose the option to “Get Important Updates” if you are currently online. Input your product key and select “Accept” to the licensing agreement.
