How Do You Upgrade The Tippmann Model 98 Paintball Gun Trigger?
The Tippmann Model 98 paintball gun is a great paintball gun that is durable and resilient. One problem with the stock Tippmann model 98 is that it comes only with a single finger trigger which inhibits its speed. Upgrading the trigger to a double finger trigger will help you shoot a little more paint at your opponents. Purchase a double finger trigger kit for your paintball gun. Remove all air sources and paintballs from the gun. Take off the hopper and elbow as well as the barrel. Hold the cocking knob and pull the trigger. Allow the knob to slide forward slowly to un-cock the gun. Use an allen wrench to remove the two screws on the bottom of the gun holding the air source adapter in place. Unscrew the two grip screws holding the left grip and then remove the six body screws. This will allow the two body halves to slide apart. Replace the single finger trigger and trigger guard with the new trigger and trigger guard. Close the marker in the reverse order it was disassembled.
