How Do You Upgrade PSP 3000 Memory?

0

When you purchase a PSP 3000 packaged with a memory card, it is typically 1GB or smaller. If you like to use your PSP for music, videos, pictures, games and Internet browsing, you need a lot more space than just 1GB on the memory card. You can upgrade your system’s memory by adding a bigger card to the PSP. Connect the PSP to the computer using the USB cable. Open “Settings” and then “USB Connection” on the PSP. Open “Computer” and then “Removable Disk Drive” on the computer to view the stored items. Copy all the files from the drive from the folder to your computer. Disconnect the PSP from the computer and remove the current memory stick from the device. Insert the new card into the device and reconnect the PSP to the computer. Set the PSP to “USB Connection” and open the “Removable Disk Drive” again. Copy the files on your computer from the old memory card to the new one. Disconnect the PSP from the computer after the files finish transferring.
