How Do You Upgrade Bitdefender?
Keeping your antivirus program up-to-date is essential for maintaining its effectiveness. Every hour new viruses begin making the rounds, while old ones die off just as quickly. Users of the latest BitDefender program (currently BitDefender 2010) enjoy automatic program updates every hour, but users of older versions must manually upgrade to the latest version of BitDefender to ensure their computers remain protected. Go to the “Download BitDefender” link in Resources. Click the “Updates” link listed under your version of the program, either Home or Business. Scroll down the page until you find your version of the program. Click the “How To” link under “Automatic Updates” to learn how to make your specific version of the program upgrade itself automatically. Without automatic updates, any antivirus software is quickly rendered obsolete.
