A Garmin GPS is a well-known brand-name electronic device that is stored with maps and a tracking device to aid users in travel. While specializing in automobile navigation systems, Garmin also manufacturers hand-held GPS devices that can be used outside of your vehicle. If you have an older GPS device, you can update the maps on it by visiting Garmin’s website. From there you can easily download new, updated maps for your GPS. Visit the Garmin website by following the link in the References. Select the type of device that you wish to update. If you want to update a “nuvifone,” click the image on the left side of the page.
