The majority of this process is done for you by the operating system, however, you do need to tell it to update. Click “Start” to open the “Start” menu. Right-click on “Computer” or “My Computer,” depending on your version of Windows. Click “Properties.” Click “Device Manager.” This will be located on either the upper-left side or on a tab at the top of the “Properties” window, depending on your version of Windows.
