How Do You Untangle A Chain Necklace?
How many times have you had a thin chain necklace get a knot that seems impossible to remove? I can tell you that all is not lost. There is a technique that I have used several times and it works! You do have to have some patience. Set up your work area by placing a cutting board from your kitchen on a table. Put the chain on top of the board. Lay the chain out and take your pin and just lightly begin to try to slip one of the pins inside the knot. You want to try to gently pull the knot apart . You are trying to loosen the knot by using the pin. It will take some time and patience but you will start to notice the knot getting easier to work with.As you start to get the knot loose use the second pin or toothpick to help pull the knot apart. It works much better than using your fingers. Once the knot is loose enough with the pin, you can then start to take the knot apart with your hand. You will now have your chain back as good as new!
