Another way is to look around Ebay. Yep, Ebay. There are guys who will sell you the directions on how to determine what the unlock code is. The prices I remember seeing are in the $10 range. I can’t vouch for the accuracy of what these folks offer, however I DID buy directions on how to reprogram my key fob. It worked flawlessly! I’d try the Ebay option.
