How Do You Unlock Motorola Razor Cell Phones?
A common practice in the mobile phone industry is to lock cell phones so they can’t be used on other networks. If the phone is GSM (global system for mobile communications), it uses a SIM card (subscriber identity module) to connect to the mobile network. GSM phones, including the Motorola Razr, won’t recognize a SIM card that is not from its current GSM network. Your mobile provider put the lock on the Motorola Razr but also provides a free unlock code to customers in good standing. You just have to request the unlock code through customer service. Turn on your Motorola Razr. Dial “*#06#” on the handset. Copy down the international mobile equipment identity (IMEI) number that appears on the phone’s screen.
