How Do You Uninstall Windows Vista Without A CD?
Uninstalling Windows Vista is done by replacing Vista with another operating system. Where using a CD is out of the question, due to a broken drive or other issue, you can download and create floppy disks to uninstall Vista and replace it with a fresh installation of Windows XP. This is a fairly basic procedure that will take anywhere from 30 to 90 minutes, depending on the speed of your computer. Insert the first floppy into your drive and double click on the downloaded Microsoft Floppy Disk program. Follow the onscreen instructions (inserting the other disks when prompted) to create the setup disks to remove Vista from your system. Insert the first disk into your computer and restart the machine. Press any key as the computer is loading to boot from the floppy. Follow the onscreen instructions until you reach the “Partition Manager” screen. Highlight the partition containing Vista and press “D” to delete it. Press “C” to create a new partition using all of the available disk space. S
