How Do You Uninstall Windows Vista SP2?
Service Pack 2 in Windows Vista is a system update that includes updates and support for new hardware and system components. It includes all the updates released since SP1. When you install SP2, some of your hardware and software programs may not function properly. This happens most frequently to video editing programs and other media programs. If you are having issues with the system update, Windows Vista enables you to uninstall SP2 using the built-in uninstaller. Click the Windows “Start” button, click the “Control Panel,” and then click “Programs.” Click the “View installed updates” link under “Programs and Features” to launch the “Uninstall an update” page. Scroll down the page, click “Service Pack for Microsoft Windows (KB948465),” and then click “Uninstall.” Follow the guided prompts to complete the uninstall. When prompted, restart your computer.
