How Do You Uninstall Windows Vista Lite?
Vista Lite is a stripped down version of Windows Vista that only installs the more essential programs and services, saving hard drive space and system resources. Uninstalling Vista Lite can only be accomplished by overwriting it with another Windows operating system. This will result in all of data on the drive being lost, so create a backup before starting, if desired. Insert another Windows installation CD into the Vista Lite computer. Restart the PC. Press any key to boot into the installation process. Press “Enter” and “F8” to move to the installation screen. Highlight the drive containing Vista Lite (normally “C”) and press “Enter.” This will overwrite it with another version of Windows. Enter in your product key, time zone, date and network information to complete the installation.
