How Do You Uninstall Windows Desktop Search?
Windows Desktop Search, the optional search tool that comes along with Microsoft Office or Outlook, can sometimes be a nuisance to computer users. They may find it intrusive and want to remove the program. Go to the Windows Desktop and click on the “Start” button. Select “Control Panel.” The Control Panel Window will open. Double-click on the “Add or Remove Programs” icon from the list. Another window will open. Check the box “Show Updates from the “Add or Remove Programs” window. Find the Windows Desktop Search program on the list. Click “Remove” and you are finished–you have uninstalled the program.
