How Do You Uninstall Vista Dual Boot In Windows XP?
A dual boot computer is a machine that is setup to load two or more operating systems. Though the operating systems won’t be loaded on your machine simultaneously, you will have the option of booting into either one or another of your installed OS’s every time you press “Power” on your computer. If you’re dual booting between Windows Vista and Windows XP and only want to keep Windows XP, you can take care of this issue in just a few seconds. Boot your computer into Microsoft’s Windows XP operating system. Click “Start.” Click “Run” and type “MSCONFIG” into the box that opens up. Click “OK” and the program called “MSCONFIG” will open up in Windows XP. Click “Boot.” Click “Microsoft Windows Vista” from the list to highlight it. Then click “Delete” to remove Windows Vista from your dual boot machine. Your computer will now automatically boot into Windows XP when you turn it on (unless you have additional operating systems still installed on your hard drive).
