How Do You Uninstall The Norton Antivirus Firewall?

0

Norton Internet Security is an anti-virus and firewall software package made by Symantec. While Norton provides a good level of security, the program is known for being unnecessarily bloated and hogging system memory. Norton Personal Firewall also tends to use more memory than other firewall programs and may block parts of the Internet that you do not want blocked. While firewalls can normally be configured to allow desired connections, many find it most efficient to uninstall Norton in favor of a different protection program. Go to the Start menu and open the Control Panel. Select Add and Remove Programs. Search the list of programs for the Norton Personal Firewall, and click to uninstall it. You may also want to uninstall Norton Antivirus and any other Norton/Symantec programs. Open the Program Files folder under My Computer. Delete the folder and files for Norton Personal Firewall. Go to the search function under the Start menu. Search for Norton Firewall and Norton Personal Firewal
