Quicktime is Apple’s video player and editor. It comes in a free edition for playing video and a professional edition, which must be purchased but allows users to edit clips and save existing Quicktime movies from the Web to a hard disk. Both the free and professional editions are quickly and easily removed from a computer running WIndows. Click “Start” and choose “Control Panel.” Choose “Add and Remove Software” from the Control Panel options available. Find Quicktime on the list of programs and select it. Then select “Change/Remove.” Click “Yes” when asked if you want to remove Quicktime.
