PaperPort 8.0 is an application that allows you to share, scan and organize documents. If you do not use it, like it, or if you are upgrading your system, you should uninstall it from your computer. This will free some valuable resources on your computer. Uninstalling the software takes only a few minutes. Save all of your PaperPort files in a safe place on your computer or network. Click the “Start” button in the bottom-left corner of your desktop. Scroll up and click “Control Panel.” Choose “Programs” and then select “Programs and Features.” Find “PaperPort 8” in the list of installed programs. Highlight it and click the “Uninstall” button. Click “Yes” to confirm. Click “No” if you are asked whether you want to delete all shared files. Click “Finish” and restart your computer.
