Most commercial software companies go to large efforts to make sure that their programs are well behaved and free of bugs. Uninstalling a program from your computer should not present a problem if the software manufacturer has done their job. Sometimes though, the software doesn’t remove easily. This can be due to a user deleting the installation record. Step 1 Select the “Start” button and choose “Programs.” Look for the program that you want to uninstall. Open its folder and check for an uninstaller. If there is one present, select it and let the uninstall program written by the manufacturer uninstall the program from your computer. This utility is not always included with software so you may have to find an alternate way to remove it from your computer.
