Or you may simply want to uninstall Firefox 3 to make room on your Windows or Macintosh computer for a new web browser. Uninstalling Firefox 3 is simple and will only take a few minutes of your time. The installation procedure is quite different between PCs and Macs. Click on “File” in the upper left corner of Firefox; select “Exit” to close your browser window. Click on “Start” and choose “Control Panel.” Select “Uninstall a Program” from the Control Panel window. If using Windows 2000 or XP, double-click “Add or Remove Programs.” Scroll down until you see “Mozilla Firefox.” Click on it to expand the menu.
