There are two ways to delete the Microsoft browser Internet Explorer 7. The first way is the easiest; it involves using the “Add & Remove” program which most people are familiar with. If that way doesn’t work, you can remove the program by going into the computer’s registry. Remember that if you delete IE 7 from your computer, Windows will automatically begin using IE 6 by default. Enter the Start menu by clicking on the “Start” button. Type “appwiz.cpl” into the Run box and push the “Enter” button. Locate Windows Internet Explorer 7 in the program list. The list is alphabetical so you’ll have to scroll down a bit. Click “Delete” and close the box. Click on the “Start” menu and type “iexplore” in the Run box. Press the “Enter” button.
