How Do You Uninstall Mcafee Total Protection 2009?
McAfee Total Protection 2009 is security software designed to keep your online experience safe for you and your computer. The McAfee Total Protection 2009 program features more than just standard virus-scan software. It also does network monitoring, alerts you to any phishing attempts, provides firewall protection and prevents you from visiting risky websites. While the program is easy to install, doing a complete uninstall can be a bit tricky if you do not know the entire process. Click on “Start” and then “Settings” and “Control Panel.” Double-click on the “Add or Remove Programs” icon on your screen. Select the McAfee Total Protection 2009 software from the list. Click “Remove” and progress through the screens by clicking “Next” until you get to the end. This will partially uninstall the program. You may be prompted to reboot your computer when it is done.
