McAfee Internet Security offers protection from viruses and identity theft. It also is designed to do such things as provide a firewall, improve computer health and prevent malware from attacking your computer. McAfee Internet Security is not the only security program you can use on your computer. If you have installed another program, you can uninstall the McAfee program. For the best protection, it is best to not uninstall McAfee on your Windows Vista or Windows 7 operating system until you have already installed the new security program. Click “Start.” Type “Programs and Features” in the “Start Search” box and select “ENTER.” The “Uninstall or change a program” window will appear. Click the “McAfee Internet Security” item. Click “Uninstall” and follow any further steps provided by your computer. You now have uninstalled McAfee Internet Security.
