Many times computer users will have the need to uninstall Norton Antivirus from their computer if upgrading to a more powerful Norton product or installing a different company’s antivirus software. By removing Norton Antivirus, potential conflicts with your new software will be eliminated. Exit from any programs that you have open on your computer. Then, choose “Start” followed by “Settings” and “Control Panel”. Select the “Add or Remove Programs” menu option and scroll down the list of programs until you find “Norton Antivirus.” Single click the “Norton Antivirus” icon followed by the “Remove” menu option followed by the “Continue” button.
