How Do You Unclog Hair From A Tub Drain?
At one time or another, we all experience a slow draining tub. This is especially true if we, or others in our home have longer hair. So we buy Drano, Liquid Plumper, and we try wire hangers, plungers, but nothing works. You’re trying too hard. The easiest and most effective method I’ve found for removing hair from the tub drain lies right there in your bathroom….a Q-Tip! If applicable, remove any type of drain lid or cover. Some drain stoppers will have a piece on top that raises and lowers to allow or stop the water from flowing. You want to remove that piece so you can see into the drain. Take a Q-Tip and place it down into the drain, making sure you don’t let go. Try to do with with little, or absolutely no water in the tub. You do want to be sure the Q-Tip gets wet when you insert it into the drain, though. If not, run a drop of water over it. Now, while securely holding the end in your hand, SLOWLY rotate the Q-Tip. You should start to feel it get harder to rotate. At this poin
