This is an article on How to Tweak Firefox for Faster Browsing. Your browser might be set for Dial-Up and you don’t even know it. Open your Firefox browser. Type “about:config” into the address bar and press enter. The page it takes you to should look similar to this picture and now you should type “network” into the Filter input box. No need to press enter it will automatically update and then you need to scroll down until you see “network.http.pipelining” as in the picture. Note that it is alphabetical order. If the value for “network.http.pipelining” is set to false double click and it will change to true. If it is already set to true please move on to the next step. Now double click “network.http.pipelining.maxrequests” and you should have an input box pull up. You are going to want to change the value to “10” and then click “Ok” as shown in the picture. Now you are done. Type whatever URL you want into the address bar and watch Firefox load faster. Enjoy!
