How Do You Turn Text Into A Hyperlink In Microsoft Word?
Word gives you a lot of flexibility when writing documents. It also allows you to turn regular text into a clickable link that will take you a web site or send an email. Here are the steps on how to do that. Open Word Type in some arbitrary text. Anything you would like as long as you like, it doesn’t really matter. Highlight the text that you want to turn into a hyperlink. You can do this by clicking the left mouse button at the start of the text you want to change and dragging the mouse cursor to the end of the text and then letting go of the button. Click on the insert hyperlink button as shown in the picture. In the window that appears type in a web address next to where it says “address”. This is the web site the reader of your document will be taken to if they click the link. Click the “Ok” button. Your text should have turned into an underlined blue hyperlink. To see how it works, hold down the CTRL button on your keyboard and click the link with your mouse.
