How Do You Turn Off The History In Microsoft Explorer?
Each time you access web pages, Microsoft Internet Explorer downloads a cached copy of the code. This creates a history for the web pages you access, and it provides a quicker way to view websites the next time you navigate to the domain. The cache history can lead to security issues, so some users prefer disabling the option. History caching can be disabled in the Internet Explorer configuration options. Open Internet Explorer and click the “Tools” menu item. In the list of menu items, click “Internet Options.” This opens a configuration window for the Web browser. Click the “General” tab. In the “Temporary Internet Files” section, click the button labeled “Settings.” This opens a new configuration window where you can change the cache, cookies and auto-fill settings for Internet Explorer. Check the box labeled “Every visit to the page” in the configuration section labeled “Check for newer versions of stored pages.” This stops Internet Explorer from saving history to the computer.
