How Do You Turn Off Parental Controls?

0

With the latest release of the Mac OS X operating system, version 10.5 Leopard, computer administrators are given the ability to enable Parental Controls on their Mac for children’s accounts. If you have no children’s accounts on your computer and wish to disable Parental Controls, you can turn off the feature in System Preferences. Log on to your Mac with an account that has administrative privileges. Open “System Preferences” by clicking on the icon in the dock. Go to the “Parental Controls” control panel underneath the “System” heading. Click on the lock icon in the lower-left corner to authenticate changes. Enter your administrative password when prompted. Highlight one of the account names on the left side of the window that has Parental Controls enabled. Click on the “Settings” icon in the lower-left corner and choose the “Disable Parental Controls” option. Repeat steps 5 and 6 for all other accounts that have Parental Controls enabled.
