DeLonghi ceramic heaters are portable heating units that assist standard heaters in warming a room. Portable heaters are often used to cut down on fuel costs. Though portable heaters are manufactured with safeguards, they still pose a fire risk if left unsupervised. If you plan on leaving the room where the DeLonghi ceramic heater is running for an extended period of time, shut off the heater to prevent accidents. Press the “On/Standby” button to place the heater in “Standby” mode. The display screen will show “- -“. Pull the power cord out of the electrical outlet. DeLonghi ceramic heaters do not have an “Off” setting as long as the power cord is plugged into an electrical outlet. Turn the heater on again by plugging the power cord into an electrical outlet and pressing the “On/Standby” button. The display will turn on and begin heating according to the heater’s last settings.
