You know how bananas tend to ripen fast and get ugly brown patches and are too soft to eat. That’s when bananas are their sweetest & at their best flavor for banana bread! First preheat oven to 350 degress. Grease the bottom of a loaf pan. Add dry ingredients together: 1 2/3 c. flour, 1 tsp. baking soda, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1 tsp. baking powder Next add wet ingredients together and mix till blended: 1/2 c. sugar, 1/3 c. margarine or butter, 2 eggs, 1/2 c. water. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and hand stir till moist. Then add mashed bananas, raisins, & nuts and handstir to mix till moist. Bake for about 55-60 min. 9 inch loaf pan/ 75 min. for 8 inch loaf pan. When you start to smell the bread, it is done. Insert toothpick and if it comes out clean, remove from oven and cool. Infallibly delicious!
