How Do You Troubleshoot Whirlpool Bathtub Jets?
Whirlpool bathtubs make your bathroom more versatile by providing deep-tissue massage, a soothing spa atmosphere and a deep soaking well. Frequent use of a whirlpool tub, however, can lead to buildup, clogs and other problems with the whirlpool jets. Learn to troubleshoot these problems to ensure you get the maximum benefits from your tub. Run the whirlpool tub with the jets activated and running with hot water for five to 10 minutes to begin loosening debris from the jets and tub tubing. Add a cap full of whirlpool tub cleanser such as JetFresh to the tub, and continue to run the tub with the jets activated for 10 to 15 minutes. Provide plenty of ventilation in the room at this time, as some cleansers may give off strong scents. Drain the tub and refill with clean, hot water.
