Here’s how to identify the most common problems with your short ram intake and what to do about them. Step 1 Listen for strange engine noise. If there was any debris in the short ram pipe before installation, it may have been sucked into the engine. This could mean some costly engine rebuilding. Step 2 Check all connections for potential problems that may have occurred during installation.
