How Do You Troubleshoot Problems With A Keyboard?
There are many ways to work with your computer using just the mouse, but for some applications, nothing but the keyboard will do. If you notice that incorrect letters and characters appear when you type or the keyboard is not working at all, it is time to do some troubleshooting. Shut down the computer and check the keyboard’s connection. Windows will not recognize a keyboard that you connect while the computer is running. Once the computer is off, follow the cord from the keyboard and ensure it securely and directly connects to the correct port on the computer. Remove any splitters or other adapters for troubleshooting purposes. Turn the computer back on to see if this fixed the problem. If not, proceed with troubleshooting.
