Kenmore gas dryers rely on a gas line in order to operate. Some examples of Kenmore gas models include the Elite, HE3 Steam and Oasis ST. If your Kenmore gas dryer starts to malfunction, you can troubleshoot the appliance before calling for service. Some problems you may encounter include no heat, dryer fails to run, unusual sounds, partially dried clothes and lint on a load. Determine if you need to replace a fuse or reset the circuit breaker if your Kenmore gas dryer does not have power. You may need to replace the standard fuse with a time-delay fuse for operation to commence. Check the valve of the gas line. If you are not getting any heat, it may not be open. However, for safety reasons, you should turn off the gas valve before further troubleshooting in order to avoid leaks. You will find the shutoff directly behind the dryer. Review the error code on the display of the Kenmore gas dryer. “PF” indicates power failure, and the dryer can be reset by holding down the “Start” key. If
