Your washer and dryer are two of the most important appliances in your home, and when that washing machine stops working you want to get it back in service as quickly as possible. If your washing machine refuses to start you could call in an appliance repair technician, but that can be an expensive option. Taking the time to learn some troubleshooting steps on your own can save you a lot of time and money. Make sure that power is flowing to the clothes washer. It is possible that a fuse has blown or a circuit breaker has been tripped. Use a receptacle tester to make sure that power is flowing, or plug another appliance in to make sure electricity is reaching the washer.
