How Do You Troubleshoot An Admiral Refrigerator?
Admiral refrigerators are manufactured by Maytag. Even the best refrigerator can go wrong sometimes, but the most common problems are easily fixed. Make sure you know the status of your warranty before you attempt any home repair. Unauthorized repairs invalidate most warranties, so contact a repair center if you are in any doubt. If your warranty has expired, you can probably do most necessary repairs yourself. Make sure the refrigerator is plugged in, and that the fuse/circuit breaker is operational. The refrigerator may also be in automatic defrost mode–wait about 20 minutes to see if it kicks back on. If not, plug something else into the outlet to be sure the outlet is getting power. Locate the compressor on the back of the fridge. If it’s running but the fridge isn’t cooling, there may be serious internal problems that are best left to a professional.
