Altec Lansing 2.1 speakers comprise an affordable desktop speaker system for your computer. The setup has two desktop-based satellite speakers and a sub woofer. However, while using the speaker system you may run into a few issues with the audio. These issues are usually straightforward; you can find and correct these problems with a few troubleshooting techniques. Install the drivers for the speaker system. Without the drivers the computer may not use the Lansing 2.1 system correctly. Insert the driver installation CD that came with the speakers. When the installation wizard loads, follow the brief set of prompts until the installation is complete. Check the cable connection between the speakers and the computer.
