How Do You Troubleshoot A Weed Whacker?
Weed whackers are extremely useful tools for keeping unwanted plants under control. You may soon notice, however, that your weed whacker isn’t working as well as it did. This can happen within a year of use. Fortunately, most of the problems that this tool experiences can easily be identified and just as easily fixed. Weed whackers often run out of monofilament line or the blades wear out or become damaged. Press the locking tab on the side of the head holding the spool or blade, and turn the locking ring in the direction of the arrows at the same time. For bladed versions, check the blades for damage or wear, and replace if needed. For monofilament versions, remove the spool. Wind the new line around the spool, and insert the line through the feed hole; then wind it in the direction identified by an arrow. Check the power.
