The Tungsten E, like many PDAs, has a soft reset and a hard reset. If, for any reason, the handheld doesn’t respond when you press a button or tap on the screen, check that the keylock isn’t turned on. If the keylock is off and the device isn’t responding, you will need to perform a soft, or possibly a hard, reset. Press a button or tap on the screen. If the device doesn’t respond, check that the keylock isn’t inadvertently turned on. If the keylock isn’t turned on, perform a soft reset. This will stop your handheld and start it again–a bit like rebooting a computer. It will not delete any information stored on the handheld. To perform a soft reset, just press the reset button, which you will find inside the hole on the back panel of the device. Check to see whether the device is operating normally.
