Step 1 Update your current anti virus database, and run a full system scan. This can take a considerably long time so be patient. Step 2 Check for malware, I like a program called malwarebytes. This program will look for malicious software hidden and not recognized by your standard anti virus. With a trojan running in the background this can slow your system down. Step 3 Make sure all systems are updated with windows critical updates.
