How Do You Troubleshoot A Computer Display Problem In Windows?
If you have recently upgraded your version of Windows or your computer, you may be experiencing display problems. If you haven’t, and are experiencing display problems, it could well be the result of an adjusted setting made by another user. There are a number of reasons why display problems arise, and the majority of them are relatively easy to rectify. By troubleshooting your video card and monitor, which are what comprise your computer’s display, you should be able to resolve a display issue in minutes. Verify that your monitor is turned on, if the power light on the bottom of the monitor isn’t lit. Remove the power cable, verify that it hasn’t been crushed or damaged and reconnect. If that doesn’t work, reboot your computer. If that doesn’t work, replace the power cable with another to ensure that the issue is with your monitor. If that doesn’t fix it, it may be that your monitor is in need of being replaced. If you have a second monitor, connect it. If that monitor also won’t work
